Terms of Service

Last updated October 18, 2026

These terms are between you and Stargo, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as OKtoRun ("OKtoRun", "we", "us"). By creating an account, running a check or paying for a service, you agree to them. If you use OKtoRun for a company or a client, you confirm you're authorised to bind them.

The short version. We check content you point us to for music and creator-rights issues and tell you what we found. We're not a law firm and our reports aren't legal advice. If a confirmed check misses something we should have caught, we re-check free and refund that month's fee. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

1. What OKtoRun does

We review social media content you point us to, such as TikTok and Instagram posts, creator and affiliate videos, ads and uploaded drafts. We look for music that may not be licensed for business use and creator content that may be used outside its license. We rate each item and suggest a fix.

2. Not legal advice

OKtoRun is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Our reviewers are trained in intellectual property, but their review is not a legal opinion. A rating of "OK" means we found no issue in what we reviewed. It does not mean the content is licensed, and it is not a promise that no one will make a claim. For legal questions, speak to your own lawyer.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Acceptable use

You may check your own brand, a brand you work for, or a client's brand. You may not use OKtoRun to:

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Plans, credits and payment

6. Our guarantee

If a confirmed report rated an item "OK", and that item had an at-risk issue we should reasonably have caught from the content available at the time of the check, we will re-check your account free and refund that month's subscription fee (or the full-check fee). Please report it within 30 days of finding it. This is your sole and exclusive remedy for a missed issue.

7. Reviewer turnaround

We aim to have a reviewer confirm flagged items within 1 business day and to deliver full checks within 5 business days. These are targets, not guarantees.

8. Reports, share links and certificates

You may share your reports, share links and certificates with your team, advisers, agencies, platforms and rights holders. Each carries our disclaimer and must not be altered. A certificate is valid only as of its date: it confirms our review process was followed on that date, not that the content is licensed. We may withdraw a certificate if new information shows it was issued on an incorrect basis; withdrawn certificates show as withdrawn at their verification link.

9. Team members, agencies and creators

10. Our data and your data

You own your content and uploads. You give us permission to process them to provide the service, keep evidence records and improve our checks. We own the service, our report formats, and our song and lawsuit data. We may use anonymised, aggregated findings in research and public reports; we never name your brand without your permission. See our Privacy Policy for how long we keep data.

11. Third-party services

We use third-party providers to host the service, collect public posts, recognise music, take payments and send email. Their availability can affect ours. Platform terms (TikTok, Instagram, Meta) apply to your use of those platforms.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Music recognition and public data have limits: a song can be missed if it is altered, covered, hummed, or not in recognition catalogs.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

14. Indemnity

You will defend and compensate us for third-party claims arising from your content, your use of the service in breach of these terms, or your violation of law or others' rights.

15. Changes, suspension and ending

We may update these terms and will give notice of material changes by email or in the app at least 14 days ahead. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach, non-payment or misuse. Sections 2, 10 and 12–16 survive the end of these terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
